Posters that stop the eye.
not just fill the wall.
Print posters still work — in offices, retail, events, campaigns, political and awareness. Digital posters work harder — Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Status, email banners. Clarvity designs posters that work both ways: adapted (not just resized) for every medium, print-production ready, Hindi/regional language variants built from the start. From A4 to billboard, from feed post to WhatsApp Status.
Every format. every language.
Poster design is six distinct work types across event, promotional, corporate, educational, political, and multi-language. Clarvity handles all six with print production coordination.
Event Posters
Conference, wedding, corporate event, product launch — tuned to venue scale and audience context.
Promotional Posters
Sales, campaigns, offers, launches — print and digital variants from one strategic design.
Social-Sharing Posters
Instagram feed, Story, WhatsApp Status, LinkedIn — platform-sized variants that look native.
Print Production
A4 to A0, billboard scale, custom sizes. CMYK, bleed, crop marks, printer-ready files.
Multi-Size Exports
One design, every size — print A4/A3/A2/A1/A0, social 1:1/4:5/9:16, email banner, web hero.
Hindi & Regional Variants
Devanagari-aware layouts, native script typography — not translated English pasted on top.
What is poster design?
Poster design is the practice of creating single-page visual communication designed to be seen at distance and at scale — event posters, promotional posters, social-sharing posters, corporate campaign posters, political and awareness posters. Good poster design catches attention from distance, delivers the message in under 5 seconds, and drives the specific action it's designed for.
The mistake most Indian businesses make is treating print and digital posters as the same deliverable. A print poster designed for a wall at 1-metre viewing distance doesn't work when squeezed into an Instagram feed; a digital poster optimised for thumb-pause doesn't work printed at A2. The hierarchy, type size ratios, white space, and visual density are all different. Clarvity designs posters by medium — print first for print campaigns, digital first for digital campaigns, with adapted variants rather than resized ones.
The other mistake is skipping print production. A beautifully designed poster becomes a crooked, washed-out, pixelated mess if it hits the press without proper file preparation. CMYK vs RGB, 300dpi vs screen resolution, bleed and crop marks, paper type colour shifts — these aren't optional for print posters. Clarvity delivers print-ready files to vendor specifications and coordinates production for clients who want hands-off delivery, from Delhi NCR through Mumbai, Bengaluru, and most tier-1 Indian cities.
How Clarvity runs a poster project.
Every poster project follows the same four-stage arc — brief, concept, revise, finalise & produce. Print production coordination optional but recommended.

Poster design, answered plainly.
What is poster design?
Poster design is the practice of creating single-page visual communication designed to be seen at distance and at scale — event posters, promotional posters, social-sharing posters, corporate campaign posters, political and awareness posters, educational posters, and film/entertainment posters. Good poster design balances three jobs: catching attention from distance (hierarchy, contrast, scale), delivering the key message in under 5 seconds (clarity, typography, structure), and driving the specific action it's designed to prompt (CTA, QR code, date and location). Posters work in print (A4 to billboard scale) and digital (social sharing, web banners) with distinct design requirements for each.
How much does poster design cost in India?
Poster design costs in India scale with complexity, format count, and research involvement. Basic promotional posters (single design, standard sizes): ₹2,000-₹10,000 per poster. Standard event or campaign posters (concept exploration, custom illustration or photography selection, multi-size exports): ₹8,000-₹35,000. Corporate campaign posters (brand-tight, approval cycles, multi-language variants): ₹20,000-₹1,00,000+. Billboard and large-format outdoor: ₹30,000-₹2,00,000+ depending on scale and print production support. Monthly poster retainers for brands with regular campaign needs: ₹20,000-₹2,00,000/month.
Do you design posters for print and digital?
Yes — and they're treated as distinct deliverables because print and digital posters have different requirements. Print posters need CMYK colour, high-resolution (300dpi minimum), bleed and crop marks, physical size specifications (A4, A3, A2, A1, A0, custom), paper-type considerations (matte, gloss, vinyl for outdoor), and print-ready file preparation. Digital posters need RGB colour, pixel-dimensions optimised per platform (Instagram feed vs Story vs Reel cover, LinkedIn, WhatsApp status, email banners), file-size optimisation for fast loading, and often animated or video variants. Clarvity delivers both print and digital variants from one strategic design, with layouts adapted (not just resized) for each medium.
Do you handle print production?
We don't operate our own printing, but we handle print production coordination end-to-end. That means file preparation to printer-specific requirements (bleed, crop marks, colour profile, resolution), vendor recommendation based on scale and quality needs (we work with trusted print partners across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and most tier-1 Indian cities), quote comparison on your behalf, press-check coordination for large runs, and delivery coordination. For clients with their own print vendors, we deliver print-ready files to the vendor's specifications — most print vendors have specific requirements that generic 'print ready' files don't meet without customisation.
Do you design posters in Hindi or regional languages?
Yes — Hindi, Hinglish, and major regional languages (Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada) are available for all poster projects. Multi-language poster design isn't just translation layered on existing design — different scripts have different visual weights, line heights, and character shapes. Devanagari (Hindi/Marathi) requires more vertical space than Latin script. Tamil and Telugu have different kerning requirements. Clarvity designs multi-language posters with layout variants per language, not auto-translated text pasted onto English layouts. For political and awareness campaigns specifically, regional-language versions are often the primary deliverable with English as the derivative.
How long does poster design take?
Standard poster projects run 5-10 business days: 1-2 days for brief and reference gathering, 2-3 days for initial concepts, 2-3 days for revisions, 1-2 days for finalisation and format delivery. Rush turnarounds (24-72 hours) are available for time-sensitive campaigns at 30-50% premium. Multi-language or multi-variant campaigns run longer: 2-4 weeks for a campaign with 5-10 poster variants plus Hindi/regional variants. Billboard and large-format work with press coordination typically needs 2-3 weeks because of print vendor coordination and press-check cycles.
